Island Estates Waterfront Bargains Report – 33767
I had someone call me today wanting to buy a Clearwater Beach Bargain.
Good thinking, since NOW is the time to get in on waterfront bargains! This buyer was looking for a Clearwater Florida waterfront condo for under $200,000 in the Clearwater Beach | Island Estates | Sand Key area.
Now for anyone that knows the Clearwater beach area we’ve seen prices rise dramatically over the last few years so finding anything on the water for under $200,000 is a condo buying opportunity.(Just in case you were wondering – Island Estate waterfront homes for sale are available from $620,000 right now and go up to over $6.7 million)
Island Estates Waterfront Condos for Sale under $200,000
I checked the MLS today for all the waterfront condos for sale right now and I found there are currently 6 Island Estates waterfront condos for sale under $200,000 – these waterfront condos for sale ranged in price from $163,000 to $195,555. 2 of the condos for sale are in 55+ age restricted active adult communities so that limits who may purchase these. Since August 1,2007 there have been 3 waterfront condos that have sold under $200,000 and one that is currently pending.
These are all on the intercoastal waterway of Clearwater Harbor which offers a boater quick access from their Island Estates condo or home to the Gulf of Mexico since it’s just out the channel under the Sand Key Bridge into the Gulf – no drawbridges either since we built the new High span bridges to Clearwater Beach and Sand Key.

Island estates is a peninsula surrounded on 3 sides by the waters of Clearwater Harbor. It is just east of Clearwater Beach (a short bike ride or walk over) and is a highly desirable boaters paradise.
One of the reasons Island Estates waterfront neighborhood attracts so many boaters is that the water is deep enough to accommodate both sail boats and large power boats and yachts. Since much of the waterfront property is Tampa Bay is shallow – Island Estates remains tops on boaters lists of best neighborhoods for boating and boaters

Who knew Sandpearl Condominium Boat Docks would Cause Tidal Wave of Emotion

Sandpearl Residences will be home to more than luxury condominiums now - Calling all boat lovers - the City of Clearwater voted and having a place to park your boat in Clearwater Beach just got easier.
In my previous article,Sandpearl Luxury Condos are Open, Now Come New Boat Docks on Clearwater Beach - or Do They? I discussed that not all Clearwater and Clearwater Beach Residents agreed with the new proposed Clearwater Beach Boat Docks on Mandalay Ave.
The issue caused a heated discussion at the last City of Clearwater Commision meeting however, the Sandpearl Condominiums and the Sandpearl Resort won out! There are still questions about how this will effect parking on Clearwater Beach.
The good news is that instead of the original 54 boat docks on Clearwater Beach the scaled back plan of 42 new beach boat slips is approved and I believe it’s great news for Tampa Bay boaters.
27 of these boat slips on Clearwater Beach would be for boaters buying condominiums at the luxury development, Sandpearl Residences - Clearwater Beaches newest luxury beach condos. The finalized deal allows the Sandpearl Resort to get 27 boat docks in the Mandalay basin area while they would build 15 more for Public use.

In Clearwater Beach Florida Boating leaves ‘em Screaming…for More!
