Clearwater Beach Florida – Clearwater 78 – Portland 19. No, this is not a basketball or football score – LOL – it is the forecasted high temperature for December 24, 2007.
As you can imagine, we are wearing shorts, tee-shirts, flip-flops, and drinking margaritas on our boats AGAIN today – HOHUM, and most of the folks who live up north are getting more ice and snow.
Not to mention the great real estate deals available here on Clearwater Beach.
Just today, I saw a great condominium for sale in Sand Key Florida in one of our premier waterfont communities on Sand Key. It has a boat dock and a 50′ deck overlooking the marina, pool, tennis courts and great sunsets.

Cyndee – Rub it in, Rub it in – the suntan lotion, I mean:) I guess living in Paradise lends itself to some boasting about the warm sunshine and beaches.
It’s the really fun part of our job – especially this time of year.
Thanks for stopping by to hang in the hammock
Cyndee,
Just thought I would return the favor. Thanks for the nice comment you left at my blog.
I doubt we will be looking for any FL real estate in the near future, but I subscibed anyway because I like your approach to a professional blog.
Oh, yesterday my son and I went out and played in the snow… It was 6 degrees. My appologies that guys were stuck drinking margaritas on the boat.
Art – you never know when someone you know in Iowa will be relocating or want to “invest” in some Florida real estate – looking forward to learning more financial info from you too.

Just goes to show that not all real estate in the US is doom and gloom. Clearwater and Virginia Beach have one thing in common – the beach! Thanks for your information.
Margaritas or Dom Perignon? With sun, no sun or on ice…I’m traveling in the Washington DC area today and as the temperature dropped, 40,39,38 then my car thermometer said ICE… now it’s down to 35.. Just can’t wait to get back to Charlotte sunshine, and a little Clearwater Beach in the spring. Terry McDonald
I might not be able to run in around in shorts when it’s 19 but since I have been known to when its only in the low 30′s it’s not hard to see where my temperature preference is. But in the winter a trip to the beach is a nice change of scenery! – Ashley
